Coordinating Executing & Managing
To ensure that the project is properly managed, and its list of goals and deliverables are met, Spectrum’s team approaches all projects using best practices and standard methodologies for coordinating, executing, and managing each project with the method that works best with it. Our Life Cycle Methodologies are built from standard frameworks set forth by industry leaders such as the Project Management Institute (PMI).
VSAT System Project
A VSAT project was developed for a Waha Oil company. The project supports WOC applications that include voice over IP, internet, and EPR system between 6 facilities (Tripoli HQ, Waha field, Samah camp, Gialo camp, Essider camp, Dahra camp) and 2 flyways stations. The services provided were supply, Installation, commissioning and integration, support, maintenance, training, and provision of bandwidth service via VSAT technology.
DWDM-IPMPLS Project
An IP/MPLS network and DWDM system of a high standard was built to modernize the existing transmission network at Mellitah Oil and Gas – Gas division by increasing the availability, security, flexibility, and reliability of the system. A network management system was also provided to monitor both networks’ operations. The project covers 7 locations: Wafa field, LVS5 valve station, LVS8 valve station, AL Ruways field, Mellitah complex, Sabratha platform and Mellitah HQ. The services that were provided in this project includes supply, Installation, commissioning and migration, support, and training.
Weather Stations
Automatic weather stations and observation managers were provided for Mellitah Oil & Gas in both Mellitah Complex and Wafa Field. The automatic weather station has a high-quality anti-corrosive design that was specifically conceived for critical maritime weather applications. As for Observation network managers they provide automated access and control of the sites, all in one place.
